Clay Green Farm, Alfrick
The site is located within the village of Alfrick; a small village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, approximately seven miles west of Worcester.
The layout was designed as a consequence to the site constraints. The large oak trees to the north eastern edge restricted any excavation within its close proximity which regulated the built form along the northern boundary. A listed building on the site's entrance required significant offset in order to signify its prominence. Hedgerows were retained where possible and a large biodiversity area along with a drainage pond was proposed along the northern boundary to mitigate against any ecological loss.
An application for 21 Dwellings was submitted in Quarter 4, 2014.
